Counselor Profile
Emily Goff Trkula, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
I base my counseling approach on a holistic model while also using cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic theories. I believe in a safe environment while working together with clients to overcome life challenges and ensuring respect, acceptance, and authenticity.
My interests and previous experience include work and career, depression, anxiety, life transitions, multicultural issues, school-related issues, women’s issues, self-esteem, ADD/ADHD, and eating disorders.
MORE ABOUT ME:
I enjoy hiking and the great outdoors, and I find a great deal of peace and serenity in a natural setting. Furthermore, I have experience with ADHD, which helps explain why I’m always on the go. Belly dancing and Ping Pong are some of my favorite physical outlets. I also love to cook and entertain. In fact, I was a personal chef many years ago!
