Counselor Profile
Kayla Marie Adcock
Graduate Intern
My journey into counseling was inspired by my experiences on the front lines of healthcare, where I witnessed the profound impact of mental health on overall well-being. Guided by a person-centered, humanistic approach, I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, empathy, and collaboration. I believe in meeting clients where they are and providing a safe, nonjudgmental space for exploration and growth.
In addition to my work with first responders, I am passionate about supporting children and adolescents as they navigate the challenges of growing up in today’s world. Whether they are coping with stress, navigating relationships, or processing traumatic experiences, I am committed to providing compassionate and effective support tailored to each individual’s needs.
I understand the unique demands of working as a first responder, including irregular schedules and high levels of stress. As such, I am flexible and accommodating, offering evening and weekend appointments to accommodate busy schedules.
Above all, I am dedicated to empowering my clients to discover their strengths, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives. I look forward to the opportunity to walk alongside you on your journey towards healing and growth
