“The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson

Do you struggle to connect with others? Do you feel anxious or depressed? Have you thought to yourself, “Why is life so hard?” Know that you are not alone and there is a way out of your struggles.

I am interested in working with individuals, couples, and families. I believe that healthy relationships can foster a healthy life. As social beings, I believe that our relationships have a profound impact on who we are, what we believe, and how we interact with the world around us. In working with individuals, couples, and families, my goal is to foster healing and growth in relationships, connection, thoughts, emotions, and communication.

I look forward to walking side by side, as you grow, heal, and continue on your journey of positive mental health and overall well-being. I hope to empower you to overcome any obstacle in your daily life in order to achieve the goals you set for yourself. I believe in utilizing a holistic, evidence-based approach in counseling. I intend to foster the counseling relationship with a person-centered, respectful, and empathetic approach to every individual I meet with. My training and experience have shaped me to utilize multiple techniques and models of counseling such as Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, Gestalt, Psychodramatic, Family Systems, and Mindfulness techniques. I believe that looking at where a person has come from can tell a lot about where they are now in their journey and where they would like to be. I look forward to helping each client leave counseling with a better understanding of who they are and feeling a sense of healing and growth in the process.

I have over 10 years of experience working with kids, teens, families, and couples. I have helped those dealing with depression, anxiety, communication issues, trauma, relationship conflicts, and many other obstacles in life. I have worked both in the US and overseas (Argentina) and have grown to recognize the importance of a multicultural lens when working with individuals, couples, and families. We are each on a journey and I look forward to being a part of your journey.

MORE ABOUT ME:

I am a mom of 2 boys and a bonus mom of a boy and a girl that I love with all my heart. I love to dance to Latin music and sing whenever I can. I lived 5 years in Argentina, which is where I first discovered my passion for counseling. I am a huge Harry Potter fan, the books, and the movies, and am sorted into the Hufflepuff house. My favorite thing to do is to cook with my kids and watch different cooking challenge shows with them. I have played, coached, and refereed soccer both here in the US and Argentina and I continue to coach my kids’ teams now
