Licensed Professional Counselor

Are you feeling overwhelmed, unhappy, stuck, and unable to cope with the challenges in your life? Do you find yourself stuck in unhelpful patterns and struggling to make meaningful connections with others? If so, you don’t have to do this alone. It takes great strength to realize that you’re struggling, and even more courage to reach out for support. Together we can partner to find fulfillment and satisfaction across the different areas your life.

I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and that we all have the inherent strengths needed to face life’s challenges. Therefore, my goal is to meet my clients where they are, collaborate to uncover their inner strengths, and empower them with the tools they need to successfully take back control of their life. I work with adolescents and adults facing a variety of issues and concerns, including anxiety, depression, body image, eating disorders, gender identity and LGBTQIA+ exploration, family conflict, interpersonal/relationship conflict, low self-esteem, and self-harm. Much of my experience has revolved around helping women and adolescents with eating disorders find meaningful behavioral change, improve their body image, and strengthen their sense of identity.

My approach to counseling includes a variety of techniques and interventions that I utilize to tailor therapy to meet the individual needs of each client. With this approach, I am committed to create an environment of trust, safety, warmth, kindness, and honesty. I do this through a holistic and multicultural lens that is founded in collaborative, trauma-informed and client-focused care.

I also use techniques from emotion-focused and relational theories, psychodynamic theory, and attachment theory. I work alongside my clients to identify unique goals that will lead to long-lasting positive change.
