Counselor Profile
“My husband doesn’t understand my feelings.”
“My parents always think I’m to blame.”
“If you just listen to me, you would understand how I feel.”
“I’ve explained myself a thousand times, but no one hears me.”
“No one appreciates me.”
These are statements I often hear people say when they initially come to see me. I am dedicated to helping people change their thoughts and actions to improve their relationships. The change in thinking and actions will lead to a better life.
I use evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I adapt techniques from CBT to help develop an outline of the areas that you would like to work on together. I am also an Imago trained therapist, which supports my approach to couples counseling. It may feel intimidating, but coming to therapy is an outlet and can create relief.
