Supervisee in Social Work

You don’t have to carry it alone.

To everyone else you’re capable, dependable, and strong. You have it all figured out.

But underneath, you’re secretly drowning in anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or the sheer exhaustion of putting everyone else first.

In our therapy sessions, we will work together to break the patterns keeping you stuck. My goal is to help you reduce burnout, quiet your inner critic, and build a life rooted in clarity and self-trust.

Areas of Focus:

  • Anxiety & Burnout: Manage chronic stress, overthinking, and overwhelm.
  • Perfectionism & People-Pleasing: Set healthy boundaries, and silence self-criticism.
  • Faith Transitions & Religious Trauma: A safe, nonjudgmental space to process evolving beliefs and identity shifts.
  • Life Transitions & Caregiver Support: Navigating change/loss, relationship challenges, and parenting stress.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I use a person-centered foundation blended with evidence-based tools like CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and specialized religious trauma recovery tailored to your unique goals.

Support for Children (Ages 3–10)
In addition to my work with adults, I am a child-centered play therapist. Children often communicate and process experiences through play in ways they can’t yet express with words. Child-centered play therapy provides a safe, supportive environment where they can process difficult experiences, express emotions, strengthen emotional regulation, and build confidence in developmentally appropriate ways.

MORE ABOUT ME:

I grew up in a large family in Southern California and later spent several years as a stay-at-home parent before becoming a therapist. These experiences shaped my appreciation for the beautiful and sometimes messy complexities of family life, caregiving, and changing roles.
