Counselor Profile
Rachel Lee
Resident in Counseling
Welcome! I am passionate about creating a safe therapeutic space where clients can feel accepted and encouraged to work collaboratively toward personal growth. I believe in providing warmth, empathy, and support for clients of all ages and tailoring care to each individual’s needs as they navigate challenges. Though I base my practice from the lens of person-centered therapy, CBT, and ACT, I draw interventions from various approaches to ensure that I am meeting each client where they are.
I have experience working with diverse populations in both clinical and educational settings including those in gifted education, residential settings, and military families. Having grown up in Northern Virginia with over 10 years of experience working with adolescents and their families, I am familiar with the pressures and unique experiences of the area. As an Asian American, I understand it is important to consider the cultural impact on certain issues and concerns while valuing each individual’s experiences. I am committed to helping clients feel validated and heard in their therapeutic experience and am here to support you in your journey!
