Is your teen struggling with overwhelming emotions, impulsive decisions, or conflict at home or school? This summer, help them build life long skills – and strenthen your connection along the way.

The Summer Creative Arts DBT Program combines Dialectival Behavior Therapy(DBT) – a proven, evidence-based approach- with creative techniques designed specifically for teens. No artistic experience needed. 

Your teen will learn to:

Regulate and express emotions in healthy ways Handle difficult situations without making them worse

Build stronger relationships and communicate with confidence

Develop self-awarness and boost self-esteem

Program Highlights: 

12 group sessions for teens (twice weekly over 6 weeks)

4 bonus sessions for parents & caregivers Skills drawn from DBT’s core modules: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, and walking the middle path

Cost

$150 One Time Intake Fee

$1,800.00 (in full or 2-4 installments)

Group Requirements

Regular counseling with an individual therapist familiar with DBT is a requirement for participating.

It is important to note that anyone struggling with self-harm or suicidal thoughts must be actively committed to safety in order to join this group.

Vanessa is trained and certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy.Since 2019, she has facilitated DBT Skills Groups in various settings, developed DBT curriculums, and led consultation groups for other DBT providers. In addition to the group setting, Vanessa provides intensive individual skills training and regularly integrates DBT into individual work with adolescents and adults.
